About Us |

The Virginia Tech Speedball team was brought forth by several interested members of the Virginia Tech Paintball Club. The club existed mostly for those interested in playing recreationally. The founding members of the Speedball team wanted to compete, and knew that at a university of this size more talent could be found. Our objective is simple: “To establish a Virginia Tech Paintball team that will represent Virginia Tech and our sponsors for the upcoming NCPA season. We strive to display a sense of professionalism and sportsmanship that is evident of a collegiate team both on and off the field while maintaining high academic standards. We wish to promote the sport of paintball as a collegiately recognized sport by competing in every event possible, placing well, and promoting our supporters. As a college team, we realize the reputation of our school is on our shoulders and it is our responsiblity to act accordingly.”
With membership coming from all corners of the university community, all majors, and all backgrounds we have created a fun and enjoyable atmosphere in which to compete and better ourselves through said competition.
